75mV Low Resistance Precision Current Ammeter shunt resistor

The shunt is actually a low-value resistor. It measures current based on the volt-ampere characteristics of the resistor. In industrial applications, it is generally used to measure DC current. When DC current passes through, a voltage drop is generated for the DC ammeter to display; the so-called shunt is to divide a small current to drive the meter indication. The smaller the ratio of the small current (mA) to the current in the large circuit (1A-tens of A), the better the linearity of the ammeter indication reading and the more accurate it is.
The DC ammeter is actually a voltmeter, and the full scale value is generally 75mV. The DC ammeter and the shunt are used in conjunction. For example: the shunt resistance of the 100A ammeter is 0.75mΩ, then 100A*0.75mΩ=75mV; for another example: the shunt resistance of the 50A ammeter is 1.5mΩ, then 50A*1.5mΩ=75mV.

Application: Fixed value shunt is an external shunt suitable for measuring DC current below 10kA. It can be used together with analog display instrument to expand the DC current measurement range. It can also be regarded as a standard resistor for current sampling in sequential circuits. Its sampling voltage can be regarded as an analog signal of primary current for measurement.
